On April 28, Zhengzhou Public Resources Trading Center announced SUS Environment to be the bid winner candidate for the first bid section of "The Procurement of Incinerator + Boiler Equipment and Steam Turbine Unit Equipment for Zhengzhou (West) Environmental Protection & Energy Project".
According to the plan, Zhengzhou (West) Project will be equipped with six 750 T/D mechanical grate incinerators, with a daily treatment capacity of 4,500 tons of municipal solid wastes and an annual treatment capacity of 1.64 million tons of municipal solid wastes. With its service covering the western urban area of Zhengzhou City and Xingyang City, it is a major livelihood infrastructure project in Henan Province, which has not only aroused the attention of the whole province but also attracted major enterprises in the industry for competitive bidding. Finally, SUS' grate incinerators stood out because of their excellent technological indicators.

Founded in 2008, SUS Environment has self-developed clean incineration equipments and technologies, which won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of The Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education, the first prize of China Construction Science and Technology Award and many other honors, and was selected into the "Five-Year Hard Work" Exhibition of the 19th CPC National Congress. SUS' grate incinerators have a market share of over 40%, ranking the first in China, and can adapt to alpine-cold, hot and other climatic regions and municipal solid wastes with various humidity values.
SUS Environment ranks the first in the whole industry, especially in the Rsearch & Development and application of large grate incinerators (above 750 T/D). It is a domestic supplier of incineration equipments which carried out the Rsearch & Development of large grates and successfully applied them to actual projects at the earliest time. SUS Environment continuously pays attention to combustion chamber design, combustion chamber temperature, combustion load variation range, pollutant control and other key technological points related to the quality of large grates, and incessantly carries out technological breakthrough and improvement. In particular, the 1,000 T/ D large grate incinerator used in Hebei Sanhe Project is the largest grate incinerator in China. In addition, the complete set of technology for high-efficiency waste-heat utilization system of dehumidification and reheating outside the ultra-high-pressure incinerator used in the project is the first project of reheating outside the incinerator in China, with thermal efficiency of as high as 31.6%, ranking the first among the incineration projects known in China. That is to say, the annual on-grid energy generated by the project has increased by about 20% compared with that under the conventional design.
The grate production base of SUS Environment
At present, more than half of the projects involving the use of large grates in China are using SUS' large grates. These projects are stable in operation, with all their indicators reaching or overmatching national standards and EU standards. The use of large grates in many projects has not only accumulated rich practical experience, but also set up a strong technological and after-sales service team for SUS Environment.
As early as 2014, SUS Environment successfully transformed itself from a supplier of incineration equipment into a comprehensive service provider integrating investment, construction and operation.
